Deposits

Disclaimer-Read before booking.

A $100 (non-refundable) deposit is required when scheduling a tattoo appointment/drawing, this includes;

  • A guaranteed date and time for your tattoo.

  • 1 drawing based on theme or subject agreed upon during free consultation.

  • Up to 3 small changes to the design.

  • The deposit is applied to the cost of the completed tattoo or on the last day of a multi-session tattoo.

A deposit is a way for the customer to ask the artist to “clear out a block of time on your schedule for me to do business with you”. The deposit guarantees that even if the client does show up the artist will still receive some compensation on lost business that couldn’t be scheduled during the alloted time for the client.

Deposits are a standard practice on different types of businesses, and as a professional I must abide by these standards.

You may lose your non-refundable deposit if;

  • You don’t show up for your appointment

  • If you cancel your appointment (at any time)

  • You don’t give us at least 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment. (In case of Emergency, consideration will be given at our discretion.)

  • You show up but you have decided to get a different tattoo than what was previously discussed. This will forfeit your tattoo deposit and your drawing fee.

If there is a need to reschedule we like to fit someone else in that opening. If we only have a day or a few hours to replace you, it’s usually not possible due to the fact our clients are busy professionals and parents. Having enough days to go through our waiting lists or contact clients gives us a little more time for planning.

Please be aware that I am booked 2-3 months in advance. If you reschedule, your new appointment may occur then depending on availability.

We will need another drawing fee if;

  • You change your mind and want another design after the artist has already done a drawing.

  • You ask for more than 3 changes or adjustments to the drawing.

  • You ask for significant changes that were not discussed at the consultation appointment.

This makes it fair for everyone.  The artist is paid for their time and you get exactly what you want tattooed.  Your artist will inform you of the additional charges according to the situation.

If there is never an agreement on  a drawing then the artist needs to be compensated for the time they spent on it. Ultimately, it’s a commissioned piece of art and the artist needs to be paid for the time they spent working and so the deposit will go toward that time.

We are happy to help you find another artist in our studio or even at another studio that can help you get the tattoo you envision.

*important note; We keep a very clean studio and need to be attentive to germs and infection risk. If you are sick or contagious in any way please call us to reschedule your appointment.
